So when I finally found it this year among the secondhand book vendors in the CBD I legit squealed with joy. I read book 1 & 2 of this series 4 years ago as part of my 2015 reading challenge. Being able to compel people sounds like the best thing in the world. Of all the supernatural beings I think vampires are by far the coolest. The Awakening & The Struggle and The Fury / Dark Reunion and in my review of The Fury / Dark Reunion, which I read in 2019 and rated 4 stars, I wrote: I enjoyed the four primary works in The Vampire Diaries series i.e. Whew! The Forbidden Game trilogy was 750 pages of silliness and immaturity 🥴🥴🥴
